01The initiative
True Friend is a youth-led initiative — built by students who refused to look past the things that are easy to ignore.
We believe the people closest to a problem are the ones closest to its answer, and that no barrier — spoken or unspoken — should decide whose story gets kept. So we do two things, and we do them without permission: we witness, and we act.
02The archive
TFA — True Friend’s Archive — is where voices are witnessed, preserved, and turned into something that moves. Every entry is a person seen. Every record is a reason to act.
What starts as a story we refused to lose becomes a project, a fundraiser, a hand extended. The needle and thread in our mark is deliberate: we stitch the record back to the people it belongs to.
03What we stand for
We look at what the world is trained to look past — and we refuse to look away.
Every voice goes on the record. Nothing that matters gets quietly lost.
A record is only worth keeping if it changes something. So we turn it into action.
